**Key Responsibilities: **
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of both on-premises and cloud-
based infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and
translate them into effective technical solutions.
Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and proactively take corrective
actions to ensure high availability and reliability.
Configure and manage virtualized environments, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Lead the planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery
procedures.
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and provide timely resolutions to minimize
downtime and disruptions.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations,
procedures, and policies.
Mentor and assist junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing
culture.
**Qualifications: **
Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in managing Infrastructure and Data Centre
projects.
Proven expertise in building and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructure
solutions.
Extensive experience (at least 7 years) working with Microsoft Azure Cloud services and
technologies.
Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) will be
considered a strong advantage.
In-depth knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware) and networking
concepts.
Proficient in implementing and managing Windows and Linux-based systems.
Familiarity with configuration management tools and automation (e.g., PowerShell,
Ansible).
Strong understanding of security best practices and experience in implementing robust
security measures.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.
Excellent teamwork and leadership abilities, with a passion for mentoring and developing
team members.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage
multiple tasks.
Strong Knowledge on O365, load balancing applications, CDNs, disaster recovery,
compliance & regulatory standards in an Azure environment, SharePoint Online &
OneDrive for Business.
Experience in recommending methodology for applications (Eg. Blue-Green, Canary,
Rolling updates) & application deployments.
Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) or serverless architecture for applications
& Auto-scaling.
Experience in taking security measures to protect applications from common
vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
Experience in failover strategy in place to ensure minimal downtime in the event of server
or service failures & knowledge on monitoring and alerting systems.
Experience in recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) for
applications should have handled database failover and data consistency during failover
events.
Knowledge on encryption methods and key management practices that are employed for
data at rest and in transit & knowledge on security audits and penetration testing
conducted, and how are vulnerabilities addressed.
Hands on Experience with incident response and disaster recovery plans which are in
place for security breaches or data leaks.
Experience in handling monitoring and alerting systems that are in place to detect failures
and trigger failover processes.
Experience in deploying applications across multiple environments (development, staging,
production)
