Job Description:
As a Functional Expert in Insurance Adjusting with a focus on
commercial property and casualty
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and challenges related to insurance adjusting.
Leverage domain expertise in commercial property and casualty to assess claims, evaluate risk, and recommend appropriate actions.
Understands SDLC & has worked in Agile teams
Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Ensure alignment of technology solutions with business goals.
Qualifications:
Domain Expertise:
Proven experience in insurance adjusting, particularly within the commercial property and casualty segment.
Familiarity with claims handling processes, risk assessment, and policy evaluation.
Technology and AI(Desirable):
Understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and their applications in insurance. Prior exposure to GenAI/ML.
Business Analysis:
Ability to bridge business needs and technical requirements.
Experience in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
Collaboration:
Strong communication skills to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Insurance, Computer Science, IT, Statistics).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance adjusting or related roles.
