Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 7+ years in network engineering, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with
Azure networking services. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or
equivalent experience). - Certifications: Azure certifications (such as Azure Network Engineer Associate) and relevant Palo
certifications (e.g., PCNSE) are highly desirable. - Cloud Networking: Strong understanding of Azure networking components (VNet, NSG, Azure Load
Balancer, Azure Traffic Manager, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway). - Traditional Networking: Expertise in configuring and managing enterprise-grade network
equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.), including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs. - Security: Solid understanding of network security principles and experience with Layer 7 firewalls,
IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies in both cloud and traditional networks. - Automation: Proficiency in network automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar), ARM
templates, Terraform, or other scripting tools is a plus - Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Azure Network Watcher,
SolarWinds, Wireshark, or equivalent. - Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, excellent
communication, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integrating Azure with other cloud providers (AWS,
GCP). - Familiarity with Kubernetes networking and containerized environments.
